What a thoroughly despicable thing to do.  I have

heard quite enough about how King Coal has been good for Kentucky and provides good jobs to the residents.  I'll bet the ones left high and dry by Patriot Coal woud have something else to say now.  They had a contract with those workers and have cheated them out of their futures and placed them at the mercy of a welfare system that no longer provides a safety net for those so unfortunate so as to find themselves in a predicament such as this.
