Alternative?

Can a nuclear Iran be deterred? - CNN.com

If Iran is determined to move to a nuclear capability then there are few options left to those who oppose it and military strikes are not one of them.  Strikes will only serve to unite the people against a common enemy.  Indefinite sanctions may have the same result.  We have only to look at North Korea for an example.  Deterrence should work.  The Iranians may not think like us but they are not crazy.  Given our history with that country we should be actively seeking a mutually acceptable diplomatic solution.  Eventually the entire world is going to have nuclear capability.  Get used to it.
